It’s enough to deter many parents from taking longer excursions with their little ones. That’s why we are so excited to carry the Babba Baby Bottle Cooler and Warmer in our online shop! We had a conversation with Dan, the founder of Babba, to learn about how this revolutionary bottle warmer/cooler works and how it can help adventurous parents stay adventurous—minus the extra bottle gear.
What is Your Mission at Babba?
Our mission is to empower parents with innovative, reliable, and travel‑friendly feeding solutions that simplify bottle prep—whether at home, on the road, or in the air. We’re dedicated to giving families feeding freedom, without the need for ice packs, bulky coolers, or boiling water.
How Did Your Brand Start?
The idea behind Babba's baby bottle cooler and warmer was born when my wife and I got pregnant with our first child. We loved to travel and go on adventures, but with a baby, we discovered the challenge of bottle‑feeding outside the house—lugging around insulated bags with ice packs to cool freshly pumped breast milk cold so it wouldn't spoil; and bringing hot‑water thermoses to warm up the milk. This was inconvenient and impractical, especially while traveling. And we weren't willing to sacrifice our adventures.
Dan previously co-founded a tech company that created the world’s first battery‑powered ice‑pack and heating pad - called Hyperice X. So him and his team are considered the world's experts on portable cooling and warming. Dan and the engineering team took the next three years developing and testing prototypes before launching Babba - the world's first baby bottle cooler and warmer.
How Does the Babba Baby Bottle Cooler/Warmer Work?
The Babba system uses a technology never seen before in the baby space. Dan introduced this same cooling and warming technology to the athletic recovery space with RecoverX, and he is now introducing the technology to the baby market. The technology actively cools and warms using a patented heat‑transfer technology—pulling heat out of milk to cool it and pushing heat in to warm it.
How do parents use the device?
It's simple! (even if the engineering behind it is complex):
- Pour milk into the included vacuum‑insulated stainless‑steel bottle.
- Attach the Babba Base on top of the bottle, then flip it over.
- Press the button to cool or warm the milk. That's it!
- Optionally, parents can use the smart Babba app to check the battery, update their device, schedule a time to automatically switch from cooling-to-warming—perfect for night feedings.

What Has the Response Been Like Since Launching?
It's been incredible! We clearly are meeting a need for new parents that wasn't being met before. Babba has been recognized as the world’s only portable baby bottle cooler and warmer, and won a Mom's Choice Award. Poppylist also hailed Babba as “a must-have baby registry item for new parents”. Thanks to the incredible response from our customers, we just launched accessory products and the ability to purchase multiple bottles, nipples, and even extra Power Adapters so that parents are prepared for wherever they go!
